The eBay ads were pretty ridiculous, so it doesn't surprise me that cutting down on them didn't negatively affect their traffic stream. They should have provided a case study of a company whose PPC ads are relevant and compelling. :P I agree with you, Lisa. Auctionads being a PPA system which actually is doing quite well. The clickrate with the above system is 5 times as high as Google adsense but for a fraction of the Google cost. Keep that in mind as I feel they will have something to say in this debate...
