I agree – nothing beats face to face interaction. I’m really happy to be able to meet up with you and the rest of the London SEO crowd, but it’s not nearly as often as I’d like.

I’m not very clued up on SEO (or much else for that matter), but I always get to learn something new each time.

It’s funny how sometimes, you go to a conference in Vegas, to find SEO fellow peoples from the UK…

I’d agree with viking Lisa, that a face to face interraction with you may be a bit taxing on the smiling muscles, but I don’t want to cause hoards of people innundating you at the next conference…

ha ha great post Julie. With all your Feisty Viking talk no one is going to dare coming up to talk to me at the next conference lol That was a great night, and I totally agree, what you can learn from other SEOs is just priceless! You don’t need to go to expensive conferences to network! Take the matter in your own hands (cough cough) and get yourself out there. Call yourself a marketeer? Well start marketing yourself =)(also known as link horing…only joking).

Oh and about the author of this post, Julie is the funniest SEO I’ve ever met, and the nicest person, so if you see her at a conference or a SEO party don’t be shy (she certainly isn’t), go and talk to her. She rocks!!
