Thats what laptops are for. :) Seriously it would be torture to write code on any phone. I loaded Ruby on my iPhone but that was just to see it work. I suppose I could write Ruby to perform some sort of function on the phone that might be useful but nothing that couldn't be achieved through a web service or on an actual machine connecting to the phone (since it has working ssh). In Japan I saw the closest thing yet which was a phone with a huge screen, fold-out keyboard, and lots of memory. Plus when I fell asleep on the player, I didn't break it like someone else I know *laughs* I am kinda waiting for a phone which I can load movies and music on - and my code and compiling engines and everything else. Technology is almost there (and no, an iPhone doesn't cut it because I can't load my compiler on to it) so I figure it's not long now!
