Mike...you are my new hero. That is brilliant! I have gotten my clients to the bottom of the SERPs but I've never been able to actually show them how poor of a job I've done. Another fine idea. Keep them coming!

As long as I'm on a roll, here's another idea I posted in my fledgling blog today. They should include a link to reverse the order of the results. I think a lot of surfers would be interested in easily viewing what's at the other end of those millions of listings. It would be at least as meaningful as "I'm Feeling Lucky".

That would put the last listing at the top if the user wanted to see it. Imagine being able to say to your clients "I can guarantee you will be at the bottom of the SERPS!".

Some day, when I buy Google, this will be so.

It will be just like cloaking...something for the engines, and something for the people. I like it.

Mike has proposed an excellent idea - Google Black and Google White. If this happens in future (though it wont) then every site owner will make two sites one for Google Black and another for Google White! lol.

Anyways as google changes its tos, the age-old seo techniques are gradually becoming obsolete.

I like it because.....when google changes a rule, it would mean we could see which websites were using the newly verbotten techniques by who lost their spot.

Wow, I totally agree with you SEO chick and so does the guy who sent me the link to this article. I'm with you. Let's face it. Every school needs a playground.

Let's keep the faith and don't let them beat us totally into submission. Here's my latest idea.

I wish Google would just offer two engines. Google White and Google Black. Let's see how many people don't use the latter. Personally I have no problem with the dark side. It's way more fun.

It means that it's the major bit of their algorithm and the major flaw as well. I doubt they will abandon links...they'd have to totally rebuild their engine if they did. I just think that the links bit has proven to be their fatal flaw, in their eyes, and they are going to continue to struggle to deal with us manipulating that until they figure out what to do.
