Yeah, just-in-time is like the electricity lightswitch. You hardly notice it if you haven't lived somewhere where you find your power yourself.

Cloud computing is the same principle. It puts the local hosts a-little-out-of-work and spawns a new industry of light-switch-fitters and meter readers.

What we need is for you to invent the just-in-time SEO service so when we need SEP we can flick the switch on and the off. And you don't mind because all our requests are being fed into a central place and some clever MSci people balance the load and determine the price - to complement Google auctions and the shifting of demand from server to server that they do for themselves.

i think i'll go and stick with just in time marketing, although maybe with a dash of just in case. like the keeping of the jeans one size too small, it's always good to have something extra "just-in-case".

love the cheese string reference too!

See? The cheese...you know it was me! I really couldn't find it in me to ruin such a boring post with something about Stiff Little Fingers or the Dead Kennedys. Maybe I can work them in through a comment. Wait, I just did!

My joy on reading a new SEO Chicks post from Julie was quickly dashed when I discovered it didn't include one musical reference. I think this post was made by an impostor... although the string cheese does raise doubts.
