The SEO Blog with attitude
entries comments

SEO chicks was thought of after a “drunken” conversation at a LondonSEO party, one cold night back in March 2007. The conversation started between myself (Lisa Ditlefsen) and Anita Chaperon (PPC Queen) and we decided after a few beers that it was time to get some female attitude into the Search Marketing blogosphere. We quickly got Julie Joyce on board and started blogging.

SEO-Chicks is a collaborating blog with the creme de la creme of female SEOs, PPC and Social Media specialists. And totally non-profit, we write because we love Search.

Now, after 1 1/2 years of blogging, SEO Chicks are growing strong, and the blog has been a great success. Far beyond just proving that chicks can do SEO :) We are now a total of 5 SEO Chicks and 5 SEO Chicklets (guest bloggers).

So here we are, attempting more than just another SEO blog

To contact us please send us an email.

So without further ado, here are the chicks that make SEO…ehm….”hot”

Her newest ventures are writing for Search Marketing Gurus on the subject of coding and SEO and contributing to the Link Week column at Search Engine Land. Julie is best known for inspiring the character of “Saaaandra” on the hit show “227″ back in the 1980s. She likes to read leather-bound classic literature whilst listening to Bartok and being fed organic grapes.

Stephanie Weingart, a girl associated with everything internet started blogging in 2001. It was just for fun, of course, blogging about her favorite things; such as bands and music. She is currently working as an SEO & Emerging Technologies Strategist for Morpheus Media. Stephanie, also known as fozen2late has also been very active in the blogosphere world, reviewing music, travel, entertainment, gadgets, and Social Media trends. When her own band became successful through Social Media Marketing, she started promoting other bands and companies on multiple levels and has achieved much success at it. Her plan? To watch the SEO/SMM and SEM Market grow and absorb other markets from the front row seat all the while, still learning.

Jane Copland

janecopland_photo.jpg

Jane Copland has been working as a Search Marketing Consultant and blogger at SEOmoz since 2006. She has been living in the United States for five years, after moving to Washington to attend university and compete on a college swim team. Graduating from Washington State University with a degree in English, she is now pleased about the number of hours she spent on the Internet during college, as it’s turned out not to be such a waste of time after all. She still remembers the first time she heard about SEO: a classmate explained how the Googlebomb worked and she was immediately hooked. Jane is best known for cheering loudly in the SEOmoz office when she finds something interesting happening in the SERPs, which generally pleases no one at all. She is a regular at Search Conferences, usually in the bar with LisaD.
