Social media in general does not tolerate single-minded self promotion. People want and require engagement and interaction. It’s that simple. So why don’t businesses use social media more often?  MarketingSherpa’s Social Media Marketing Survey said it’s because of a lack of knowledgeable staff. In fact, almost 46% of businesses or organizations that were surveyed said they weren’t using social media because no one knew enough about these types of sites to do so. As an online marketing consultant the advice I often give my clients is to just get their hands dirty and jump into the social media world slowly but as soon as they can. They will never know if social media will or will not work for their business unless they take the plunge to see.]]></description>
