Jackie Hole is a former chef and musician that decided she should learn how to use a computer in 1993 by taking a University Degree in Interactive Media. After 3 months of obsessive Photoshopping & teaching herself Director, she was employed by her tutor to work on ‘Multimedia CD-Roms’. Shortly after Macromedia invented Flash and Dreamweaver so she made the switch to web development and formed her own Digital Marketing company 22 Minds in 1999.
Search was a natural next step so in 2004 SEO/PPC and SEM strategy became the main focus working as Head of Search for various agencies in the UK and offering Internet Marketing services to SME’s and start ups in the UK, USA and Canada.
In 2011 Jackie joined the team of Bloggers at State of Search becoming an editor in 2012 (and Now SEO chicks!), and can be seen regularly at conferences and events. Jackie also writes internet marketing columns for local publications and offers business support at local ‘lunch & learn’ sessions.
When not ranting about Conversion and CPA vs CPC, Jackie can be found trotting round the globe with a camera trying to meet SEO’s and is NOT always on holiday
